In good physical shape: Plumbers must stay in good physical shape. The job can be physically demanding and require strength, endurance and flexibility. Just remember to be smart no matter what taunts you may receive from others. The plumber's back and knees disappear too soon when they aren't lifted properly.

Plumbers often need to climb, lift heavy objects, and work in extreme temperatures, so they need to be physically fit to perform these tasks.
